Our roots are in Private Equity, where we developed an in depth knowledge of branding, culture and ultimately investment realization. Meet the Team

Dave Roberts

Executive Search & Talent Acquisition

Dave started off his career 15 years ago in a well-known, high-volume agency in London, recruiting administrative and support staff into finance and legal firms. He quickly rose through the ranks and established himself as a top performing team manager, with an eye for account development, before making the jump to Executive Search.

This eventually brought him to Singapore and working with Private Equity Clients focusing on portfolio company hiring across Southeast Asia. It was here that he really started to develop his cultural awareness and strategic thinking for larger teams and international hiring.

On returning to the UK he joined OutlierPlacements and now works closely with Clients on everything from individual junior support hires through to specialist team moves.

Outside of work he enjoys socialising with friends in London and is a keen runner and CrossFitter. The latter ensuring his other pastime or keeping close to the Physiotherapy and Chiropractic fraternity.

Rob Hayward

Executive Search & Investor Introductions

With over 20 years working globally as a Search Consultant across Banking & Finance, Shipping, Private Equity and Commerce, Rob is a seasoned recruiter with an impressive network having executed searches across AMER, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. He can offer real strategic advice on leadership hiring that will directly impact the direction and growth of your business, along with help introduce you to the best Technical and Regional experts.

His experience of working with Private Equity Fund Managers and Family Offices across Europe, Middle East, South-East Asia and Australia enables Rob to also introduce active growth and buyout investors and deals.

When he’s not splitting his time between Singapore and London for work, Rob loves spending time with his wife and 2 young children, playing on motorbikes and occasionally running away to the mountains.

Geoff Taylor

Executive Search

A Business and Finance Management graduate from Northumbria University, Geoff initially earnt his stripes as a Private Equity Research Analyst on a work placement year with PER. Here he was involved in mapping projects across Mid Market Private Equity and Management Consulting in Europe and South East Asia and Australia, which subsequently lead to spending a year travelling across APAC after graduation and eventually working another year in Australia. He eventually found his way home and back to Executive Search with PER again where he continued to learn his trade and develop his market awareness within Private Equity.

His experience and understanding of Private Equity in Europe and Asia enables Geoff to deliver effective and in depth mapping of local markets and specialist investment sectors.  His ability to map, identify, approach and build a relationship with prospective candidates adds real value to all of our searches.

In his spare time Geoff juggles a young family with being an avid Fulham FC supporter and season ticket holder. He likes to escape the emotional pressures of all this with the occasional city break. 

Carolyn Ferrant

Talent Acquisition & Executive Search

Having earned her stripes in the competitive world of advertising sales with Yellow Pages and then making a name for herself in media sales with the likes of GWR and Classic FM, Carolyn has grown from Sales Executive to Commercial Director and now Branding and Talent Acquisition Specialist utilising the entirety of those 30 years of experience.

With her keen understanding for Sales and Brand Building and Development capability, Carolyn has implemented successful Talent Acquisition Strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa for many of our international clients in FMCG, Finance and Private Equity.

In her own time she enjoys city breaks, fine dining with friends and escaping to the allotment with Barbara, her Jack Russell.
